When a page is
watermarked, all the text and images on that page move, and the background
remains stationary when scrolling up and down the page.
1. Click Format, Background. The Page Properties Dialog
Box appears.
2. Initially the watermarking option is
ghosted. You will notice that the default background color is white and
the default text color is black. Check the Background Image box.
3. The watermarking option becomes
available. Check it also. If satisfied with a white background, just click
OK. Otherwise choose another solid color or a tiled image.
Note:
Watermarking can be
an eye-catching effect, but it can also be overdone. When a page is
overloaded with graphics, the watermarking technique can be a strain to
the eyes. Use it sparingly on sites for best effect.
Tip: The watermarking procedure is simple to
execute. It looks best, almost without exception, when every page is
watermarked in a site.
Tip: FrontPage users can access many dialog boxes
and other options in the FrontPage Editor by right clicking anywhere on
the page. The following picture shows the options available when right
clicking.
