1. Type in some text on the page where desired. The
text will appear in black.
2. Click on the Text color box located next to the
underline symbol in the Format toolbar. The Color Dialog Box appears.
There are 48 Basic Colors to choose from; and custom colors can be
defined.
3. Click a white square below the words
Custom colors, and then click the Define Custom Colors bar. A second half
appears to the Color Dialog Box.
4. Click inside the small rectangular
bar on the right hand side of the Color Dialog Box. The numbers change in
the boxes beside the words Red, Green, and Blue. When the desired color is
found, just click the Add to Custom Colors bar.
5. Select as many custom colors as desired for the web
page in like fashion. Click OK.
Note: There are millions of colors
available for use by web pages that can be accessed in this fashion. Be
careful not to go color crazy and choose too many for use on one page. It
can make a web page look cluttered. Remember, tomorrow is another day, so
keep some color choices to use on future occasions.
