The procedure below
makes an image tile that can be used as a solid background.
Hint: The method works best with less contrast between
colors. Too much contrast makes it harder to remove seams in the
background.
1. Open Corel PhotoPaint 9.
2. Choose New. The Create a New Image dialog box
appears.
3. Choose Size: custom. To the far right of Width on
the drop down box where it says inches, change to pixels.
4. Set the Width:120, Height:120, Resolution:72. Click
OK.
5. Click the Fill Tool, the Texture Fill, Edit Fill.
6. Under Texture library choose Samples, Vegetation.
7. On the right middle of the screen the word Shade
appears over a chosen color, below that color is the word Light and then
another color. Click the drop down box beside Shade and choose Other, then
enter the numbers under the appropriate Red, Green, and Blue values.

8. We chose Texture # 9291. Choose another Texture
Number and make a background of your own liking by choosing another
Texture Number. Click OK.
9. Choose Fill Tool. Click inside the white square. The
white square fills with the chosen texture.
