They told me, "You can't roller skate in a buffalo herd." (See
picture below).
"Why not," I asked?
"Because you'll trip over all those dirty
birds," they replied.
"Yea, but I got a do-wacka-do," I said.
1. Save the picture above somewhere on
your computer and then open Corel Photo Paint 9. Choose Open Image and go
to where you saved the image.
2. Now go to the bottom of the toolbar
and click the small triangle next to the brush. Pick the Clone tool
pictured below left. Then click to enable the Clone tool as shown on the
right picture immediately below.
3. Then Clone toolbar appears. Choose
Clone for your brush type. (Impressionist Clone, Pointillism Clone, Clone
From Saved, and Clone From Fill are also available. Choose Custom Clone
from the choices in the drip down menu next to brush type if it is not
already chosen. Then choose Normal from the drop down menu next to it.
4. About half way over on the Clone
Toolbar you will notice a slider. That slider adjusts the size of the Nib
for your clone. Slide the bar until it say 43. We are now ready to clone.
5. Notice the round circle with the cross
in it that follows wherever you move your mouse. Find a grassy area you
want to clone and then right click over that area. (Pictured left below).
Then move the mouse to the area you want to clone over. Notice that the
cross stayed over the grassy area you just choose. When you are satisfied
that the circle covers the area you want removed, left click. See how the
grassy area you chose to clone appears where you left clicked. Just repeat
until you've gotten rid of all the dirty birds.
6. That's it. Now I can roller skate in a
buffalo herd; but it never would have been possible without my do-wacka-do.
I mean Photo Paint 9's clone tool.
