The following
procedure constructs a non-textured background. That image can then be
further manipulated into a left side border background, or buttons and
banners.
1. Let's choose a background with lots of texture to it just to show
you this procedure functions in all cases. Drag and drop the brick
background from the tile choices as represented below. Then click on Image
I. Notice how the words Image 1 become bold. That shows that it is
enabled.
2. With Image 1 enabled click Invert as indicated
below. Then click Keep when it appears. You could have
enabled Image 2, Inverted it and achieved the same results. In
other words, Invert one of the two images.
3. Notice how your Final Image Appears a gray color
but with no texture associated with it. Now we can set the color
controls and get the specific color we want.
4. I like dark blues so let's make a dark blue
tile. Set the Brightness to 76%, Red to 89%, Green leave at 100%,
and Blue 148% as pictured below.
5. The tile we have constructed is pictured below as
the Final Image. Notice there is no texture associated with it.
