Magic - Color Adjustment |
Note: This tutorial focuses on making
adjustments to color. By adjusting Image 1, Image 2, and the Final
Image it is possible for literally billions of slight color variations. |
1. Let's pick two tiles with different colors to
demonstrate. The tile in Image 1 is shades of very dark
blue. The tile in Image 2 is a dark red. The resulting Final
Image is purple. |

2. Let's say you want to make the Final Image a dark
green. There are two ways to do this procedure. One, just
adjust the Brightness, and Red, Green, and Blue sliders to the desired
color. Or for more specific changes to the final saved image tile,
you can adjust the Brightness, and Red, Green, Blue sliders for each
image. Procedure number one is simpler; but not by much.
Let's do procedure number two. |
3. Click on the tile located in Image 1 to enable
changes for that tile. Then slide the Brightness control down to
60% and the Green control up to 142% percent. This gives us a dark
green tile for Image 1. |

4. Click on Image 2 to enable it. Adjust the
Brightness slider to 132%, Red to 29%, Green to 156%, and Blue to
52%. See the results below. |

5. Now let's make some final adjustment to the
Final Image. Let's say we liked the color we came out with and
wanted to place a pattern on it. Click on the Final Image to
enable it, then click Pattern. |

6. Click the tile below to see how it looks as a
background on a web page. |

Note: You can also Emboss, Erode, Invert,
Sharpen, Soften, Flip, Rotate or Pattern or a combination on each
individual image tile for very specific results in the same manner as
described above. Yes the possibilities are almost endless! |
