FrontPage
Help - Copying
and Pasting affiliate banners using HTML view.
Note: The following tutorial
places the small arkvalwebworks banner shown above on a web page.
1. Highlight the HTML instructions from
the web site or the word document for the banner that you want to insert.
Right click anywhere on the highlighted text and choose Copy.
2. In the FrontPage Editor Normal view click to place the cursor
exactly where you want to insert the banner's HTML.
3. Click the HTML tab at the bottom left
corner of the screen between the Normal and Preview tabs. If the Image
toolbar is enabled it is located immediately above it.
4. Scroll to where you see the cursor in HTML mode and
then press Ctrl V on the keyboard, or click Edit, then Paste, or right
click over the cursor and choose Paste. The HTML code appears. Click the
Normal tab to return to the normal Editor view.
Note: In actual HTML view Picture One and Picture
Two below would be side by side. They wouldn't fit otherwise in the space
provided.

5. If you're online, the banner should
appear shortly. If it does not then highlight and delete any added HTML
and try it again. Make sure the code was all highlighted correctly at the
source, then Copy and Paste the code in again.
Hint: An underline mark may appear
before or after the banner in Normal mode. Just delete the mark while in
Normal mode. It does not seem to affect the code. P.S. It works best after
the banner has been loaded up and can be seen on the web page.
