Another Meadow: What a sensation
it must be waking up in the morning breathing pure mountain air with a
view that won't quit.
Antelope: An antelope faces us
confidently and safely in the distance, standing guard on its prairie
home.
Aspen Ghosts: It was extremely
dry that year; perhaps that explains why there appears to be ghosts in
the aspen.
Aspen Trees: An abundance of
Aspen trees greeted us in a remote location near the source of the
Purgatoire.
Bents Fort: A frontal view of the
famous trading fort that opened up the frontier west.
Bents Fort Far-off: Bents Fort lies
in the near distance with Indian teepees around the sides.
Birds: A variety of birds
feeding at a birdhouse.
Birdhouse: A birdhouse
stands invitingly amidst lust Florida greenery.
Blue Jay: A blue jay on a bale of
hay has nothing to say on a sunny day. (Ogden Nash eat your heart
out).
Butterflies: Butterflies hover
over a bouquet of yellow mountain wildflowers.

Campground: This beautiful
campground lies almost hidden amidst a grove of aspen trees.

Reservoir: The east side of John

Rock House: Long after wooden
structures have decayed, the rock house lives on in almost original
splendor.
Rock Ridge: A solid ridge of rock
lies behind this mountain ranch in the southern Colorado mountains west
of Trinidad.
Silly Horse: A horse
gives the camera a funny look from his pen. Hum, maybe he's a gift
horse..., we better not look him in the mouth.
Silo: Long after the inhabitants had
left the area this silo still stands guard over the prairie.
Siphon: A water siphon tube adorns
